"The coffee here is great, full bodied & well presented. Food is pretty basic breakfast fare, mainly sandwiches & baguettes. However they are usually fresh with quality ingredients. You can sit with your pooch just outside the cafe & service is prompt & friendly"

"Franc cafe. Many things to say. The coffee was lovely, not the best but enjoyable. Unfortunately, the seating was not the best with bad lighting and no real feel but that didn’t really matter to me as I was with my family enjoying my self. The baguette felt unfinished was a little flavourless, “Did not feel like it was finished, needed some chutney or something else to be better, the chicken was a little bland and the roll was hard to cut”. The iced chocolate was said to be good and worth the money. The waiters were one of the highlights though with a good attitude towards work enjoying themselves working in a lovely clean environment. The shop was very modern and clean looking more professional and artistic. Overall, it was the experience that mattered and I personally really enjoyed it."

"We stopped at Franc for a light brunch. As their baguettes are quite large, we opted to share one. Staff were very cooperative, gave us two plates, each one garnished with a small side of greens and a delicious dressing. Coffee was excellent. It’s also a great place for people-watching."

"Franc is a gorgeous new French inspired cafe/patisserie that has opened up at Merthyr Village in New Farm. Staff are professional and friendly. They serve a range of baguettes, salads, pastries, pies and gelato. I’ve had many coffees from here now and been incredibly impressed and would have to be one of my favourite coffees in New Farm/Brisbane! The pastries and pies have all been delicious too. Have only ever gotten takeaway from here, the dine in area doesn’t look overly appealing in the middle of Merthyr Village shopping centre, but the cafe itself is simply beautiful."
